Hi all!
I am excited to announce a new launch and my first post on IndieHackers! I believe payments are still complicated for people who want to focus on running their business and selling their products and services. PaySwift is a step towards simplifying payments.
PaySwift is a platform where you can create a checkout page in 30 seconds. Simple pricing - 0% transaction fees. All you need to have is a Stripe account. Also supports accepting the payer's shipping address, if you need it.
No coding, no manually creating the same invoice again and again, and no need to build complicated online stores. 30 seconds is all you need to start selling.
I hope you find PaySwift helpful. Feedback is appreciated.
Cheers,
lagoon
Love the idea of making this easy for people! I noticed wording on there that said "Note that Stripe might have its own transaction fees" that might sound better as "Excludes Stripe's standard per-transaction fee". Hope this helps - congrats!!
@richp_ thanks for checking it out and for your feedback - noted and will be making the change today.
No worries, go get em'
I find the title of this post and the wording on your page very misleading regarding the 0% transaction fee while you rely on Stripe that has transactions fees.
I've found that most, if not all, checkout pages charge additional transaction fees + monthly fees in addition to regular stripe charges. The fact that there are no transaction fees here makes me want to use the product
@julienmahin @Anjrai thank you so much for your feedback.
We will be making a change on the intro section to be clear that it excludes any charges stripe has.
Hey @lagoon, great product! The only feedback I'd offer is to put a bit more time into your site. Especially with payment platforms, users want to feel super professional.
Just my two cents. Does it support subscriptions or discount codes?
hey @gurney_nicholas, thanks for your feedback! Makes sense. Merchants definitely want to look professional. Our current UI is based on making the UI at least as good as most payment software products like Zoho, Stripe, Square etc.. We will put more effort into making it look better. We are going to work on giving more customization options to merchants as well - so we hope that will also be helpful.
We are currently working on subscriptions. After that, we have discounts lined up. Will notify you once we have those up and running!
This is awesome, congrats @lagoon!
Thank you, Kat :)!
Any plans to add PayPal?
Absolutely! We will notify you as soon as we have support for Paypal. Thanks for asking!
Just noticed that our FAQ does not mention that we have Paypal planned. We will update it today.
Is it something like https://wirize.com/ ?
Looks good man. Congrats.
@Castle, thank you for your kind words!
Hey there congrats on the launch. I can help with the landing page :)
Thanks @udprakash - I'll ping you if I see the need. Cheers!
Hello,
Are you asking people to provide you with their secret stripe key?
See the quote below from your site:
Congrats on the launch. You may wan to add a little more details on the pricing. Right now, you have 3 tiers but there's no features to help the user determine which is the best solution. Other than that, love what you're doing.
I was actually contemplating disrupting this space too with $0/0% transaction fees and try to monetize a different way. Just gotta brainstorm a little more. Maybe sometime in the distant future.
Thanks @vez1132! We will explore how we can make pricing plan benefits clearer.
What's the catch? :D
None :). Simple pricing as mentioned on the home page!
also, Stripe charge transaction fees. Your headline very misleading.
Most, if not all, checkout platforms that I have seen charge additional transaction fees on top of a monthly set fee + regular stripe fees. The fact that there is no additional transaction fee is a huge plus to me
Good to know, though it is still misleading, and there’s no point in alienating potential clients.
Makes sense!
@colaba @Anjrai thank you so much for your feedback.
We will explore making a change to the home page today where in the introduction we will try being clearer about stripe charges.
Our rationale has been to mention that PaySwift doers not charge any transaction fees. But if you are using Stripe, which is a dependency for us right now, we can't control what Stripe charges.
You know your market better than I do- perhaps that’s the norm for all I know. Good luck disrupting the market!
