Looking for a part time job
Hi there!
I'm seventeen and I'm looking for a part time 'online' work-from-home job. I go to school for 40 hours a week and have a time job in retail, but I only work 3 hours a week if not less, so it's not really bringing in much cash, nor is the work very enjoyable. Besides, my contract expires in December, because I'll turn eighteen and become too expensive for the work that I do (stocking shelves, mainly) because of the minimum wage laws in my country and the limited resources of the company.
I figured that with all the startups on here, I could maybe find a startup that could use a young new sales agent or a Social Media Marketing Manager. If you do, please contact me at sem.peters@hotmail.com, I'm sure I can mean something to your business.
Just so this does seem relevant to Indiehackers: I will use most of the money to kickstart an idea that a friend of mine and I had, we wanted to bring a new beverage in the local market.

Really nice of you to have a business goal at this young age and being ready to work for it.
Rather than part time work, why not consider doing a side business/project once your contract ends?
Why not set up a small service something like managing businesses social media profiles for $X/month? or managing their receipts? Do a month/three month or six months for the first three/five customers in order to get traction and testimonial and then start charging. There are lots of services you can offer depending on your skills set.
