Looking for some feedback.

Hey all,

So I've spent the last few weeks updating my latest side project Cooee Network

The main issue was with lack of trust (Case studies/ testimonials) and also there was some confusion with what the service actually offered.

Can you please have a look and let me know if the messaging/ service is clear and also any feedback would be much appreciated as I'm always looking to improve.

Appreciate it,

Dave

    Hey Dave,

    Looks like you got all the pieces in place.

    I would maybe change the order of sections to something like this:

    1. Explain what the service is and how it works

    2. Show case study

    3. Customers and testimonials

    4. Get started - actual CTA instead of live chat

    Would also have a CTA higher up, probably in the hero section.

    Think this order would answer people's questions in the right order:

    What is this?

    How does it work?

    How good is it / Who is using it?

    How do I do this?

    Hope this helps!

      Saving this advice for when I redo my own landing page!

      That helps a LOT dude :)

    Hi David, I think that your landing page overall is quite nice, however, the fact that you don't list your average engagement rates for these accounts is a red flag.

    With how easy it is to buy followers these days, a high follower count alone does not equate to an active, engaged, or trustworthy audience worth advertising to.

    1. 2

      Here are the engagement rates (Instagram):

      @designershumor: 9,42%

      @minimaloffices: 2,69%

      @developershumor: 2,03%

      @uxdesignpatterns: 1,9%

      @typedrawn: 1,86%

      @logomarketco: 1,51%

      @mousecrafted: 1,07%

      @uidesignpatterns: 0.85%

      1. 1

        Just to put things into perspective,

        @goodtype which has 917,210 followers has an engagement rate of 0.36%

        @designmilk has 2,286,663 Followers has an engagement rate of 0.57%

        So, as your followers grows your engagement will always drop :)

    David what sort of discount would you offer me? I'm willing to try out your service - however be aware I'll likely do a write up with the data and my experience on here :-)

    Here's a "lack of trust" thing for me at first glance: the screenshot of the Visualography twitter account shows 387 followers and the pinned post is from Jan 26 (of some unknown year, but I'll assume 2018). Today that account has 163k followers. Now I'm sure there are legit ways to grow your following by over 400x in a few months, but many people, myself included, will assume that much of that audience is not real. I may be mistaken, but that's the impression I'm left with.

      Hey Zamir, that screenshot is just a design mockup I downloaded. It's just a generic Twitter template file ;)

    Hey David,

    I still feel the page is suffering from information overload ... I have to scroll to understand your offering, and even then, it seems too text heavy.

    This testimonial could even be shown above the fold:

    "Using the Cooee Network helped me to get hundred of qualified visitors in just a few hours..."

    [Note, grammar / typo on 'hundred', needs to be 'hundreds'.]

    I gave this example in a previous landing page topic on IH, but it's so good it deserves to be mentioned:

    https://www.infusionsoft.com/

    [They recently rebranded, as it seemed their last homepage was too complex / targeting the wrong audience.]

    Drive the value home, above the fold (think mobile-first). Make it super simple to understand, and effortless to digest.

    Hope this helps!

      Thank you, Sam,

      Previously people were saying there wasn't enough info so that's why I pretty much threw everything I had at the landing page but I get your point. I will start to remove unnecessary jargon.

      It helped :)

        My pleasure, pal! It can be tough with people pulling you in all directions. 😊 It's NOT an easy task to explain everything while also focusing on brevity.

        A way to get past this is to nail your precise value proposition (great tips here) and then give visitors the chance to hit a button to 'Discover More'.

        Keep rocking! I'll look forward to seeing your progress on this project! 🏆

          Thanks so much my man, will 100% check out these tips today and implement in the coming days :)

    Simple to understand and a nice offering! How are you planning on expanding your offering? Will you ask other pages to join? And how are you planning on finding customers?

    It would be cool to interview you for my blog Take The Bait. Its a blog about how founders built their MVPs & found their very first customers https://www.veed.io/takethebait/

      The network is growing pretty fast on its own so I don't see myself reaching out to anyone else.

      I'm reaching out to leads on KickStarter, PH and other sites where I feel that my service would be helpful. So far, so good.

      I would be interested in an interview :)

    Looks good. It was easy to understand the product and the value.

    Breaking my IH fast to comment: yup you nailed it.

    I was interested in the product but wanted a case study with hard figures. If you can add, a section with named testimonial cards like Harry has done at yeezy.dating - that would further increase credibility further - i.e product has worked for more than one company.

    To be honest, David: IG and twitter is momentary traffic. What would you loose by offering 3 or 4 posts over a 7 day period to capture different audiences? You could add this as a bonus feature.

    Obviously you don't want to alienate your audience, but 3 or 4 tasteful posts diffused over a week (or two) wouldn't harm you, especially on Instagram. (That's the challenge: offering advertiser value, without diluting your brand).

    I would pay $300 for that, and feel much more secure than a simple one shot campaign. You can obviously track metrics on this, and charge as appropriate: it may be worth $500 or more depending on expected value.

    Now back to my fast from posting on IH. (I know, I know - but helping a co indie-hacker, whose been around a while, is a valid exception).

      Yes, this is something I'm working on - more testimonials.

      I do offer this, but you may have missed it as I put it in smaller font under the pricing plan: "We do customized advertising packages with better prices. We also give discounts for bulk orders. Feel free to contact us to learn more about them!"

      Will 100% take your points on board and I appreciate the break from yoyur fast ;)

    On the "Twitter Post" section it says:

    Your sponsored post will be pinned to our 4 biggest accounts

    But that account has only 387 followers. My thinking was that if all the twitter accounts you mention are so small, maybe there's a really slim chance that those people actually engage with the post.

    Do you have an account with more followers maybe?

    In order to check if my vision is "clear" let me give you my impression on WHAT it does after looking at your website for 3 minutes:

    "Cooee Network is a service that lets me push my content over the social media accounts that it owns so it can be watched by many people and lets me gain traction to my website. It also gives analytics and stats to show me how much interaction and traffic was going to my link(s)."

    This is more functional though. I'm still translating what VALUE your services provide me over other companies like Quuu (where my content is pushed out several times".

    How will traffic gain me something (after all, $199 for an Indie dev isn't small change)?

  11. 1

    The copy above the fold doesn't make it immediately clear what your service is all about (I had to scroll down to understand it).

    Also, the case study struck me as weak, because 593 clicks for $199 isn't that impressive, and then it's unclear how many of the clicks converted to sales.

    I think this product looks great, and something I will actually consider using.

    I think this landing page can still be tuned though:

    • I think above the fold should follow the normal startup paradigm . just have a single statement telling people what value they're going to get - eg. 'Get your product infront of 1.5 million followers instantly and affordably'. I don't want to have to think about it.

    • To be honest, 'network of followers' actually meant nothing to me for about 10 seconds in until I was reviewing the list of groups. I think you should explain this in even simpler terms like 'we run a number of large, popular, active Facebook groups in the Digital Marketing niche that we can advertise you to'

    • I need more confidence that this is not a spam product. People can sell you lists of millions of email addresses, I want some evidence that these groups are full of legitimate followers, that they are active (people haven't just been sucked into them unwillingly). If you can do that for me, I will buy this.
