My first paying customer! Here's what i did.

Hi guys!

My last post was this one: https://www.indiehackers.com/forum/so-i-finally-launched-and-now-what-8b4cd27c4d

So i'm sharing with you some information about what happened last week.

  • 10k visits

  • 200 users

  • First paying customer finally arrived! ($25)

So, these $25 means a lot to me, someone actually paid to use my website (post their job opening).

As i said before, i didn't use any ads (google ads, facebook ads, etc), basically i'm just posting in facebook and whatsapp groups. It seems very effective but i'm ready to try some Google Ads in the next month.

Since we have good talents here in Brazil, it's not being difficult to fill those jobs positions and a lot of people is already applying through my website.

My objective is simple: 100k visits until the end of the year. I know, it's not much, but i'll get there =).

The hardest part is getting started (and launched of course). You did it!

  2. 3

    Congrats!

  3. 3

Congratulations! This gives me a lot of hope! Good luck in achieving your goal!

  4. 2

Congrats! Awesome that you were able to organically get a sale!

Also, Brazil sounds awesome. It's next on my list of Latin American countries to visit! :-P

That's fantastic, and encouraging! I'm in a similar situation, but maybe a bit behind (still in beta, and haven't yet broken out). Anyway, thanks for sharing!

  6. 2

    great work!

People didn’t consider you spam in the FB groups?

    1. 2

No... All the groups i've posted is technology related and i post 1 job position per day, i can't afford to be banned by them.

  8. 2

Congratulations. It's a wonderful feeling indeed.

  9. 2
