I'm working on an application idea to improve the processes inside marketing teams. The persona I'm trying to reach are heads of marketing departments in smallish (<100) person companies.
I'm not at the point of selling anything yet, just trying to learn about problems. Any advice on how to find these people quickly?
Can you drill down to the type of problem you are interested in solving — Video? Email? Social? Managing people or analytics? Campaign scheduling? Design delivery?
Easy ways to start is first asking your personal network then searching LinkedIn and joining FB groups for marketing people.
You’ll want to use a short message with a simple call to action why they should talk to you about the headaches they face in their job. A survey might get better replies than a short survey call if they don’t know you.
