Need help to monetize my shipping API integration side project
Hello, indie hackers,
I am an aspiring indie hacker. I have been working on a side project for a while almost a year now (actively in the past three months). It was first used as a portfolio and project showcase as well as developing my skills as a software developer.

I got a lot of positive feedback from peers and many mentions of the possibility to monetize.
I have been doing online research to know more about the shipping API integration industry and discovered that there is a lot of giants like EasyShip, Shippo, Postmen, Shipstation, RocketShip to mention few.
However, the open source solutions are inexistent; I think it can be leveraged to serve a user base and get into the market.
My problem is that I am new to indie hacking and I am overwhelmed by the different productization/monetization possibilities (Saas, Open source support, Serverless platform for shipping API integration, prepackage shipping service...)
Key points of the project benefits:

I am hoping to get a business model like Sidekiq or Sentry and similar open sources with a monetization model.
