Another one bites the dust (or gets bought).
There are some folks on here building payment gateways, but has anyone found any particularly robust and fairly priced ones out there already?
doesn't look like crap (sorry Gumroad)
Allows for subscription + single purchase
handles digital downloads
Ideally integrates nicely with Stripe payments
Alternatively I need someone to help me with stripe integration!
Jonny I think you might be talking about us!
We've been working on Payhip for about 5+ years. It's solid and stable. We handle Digital downloads and memberships. Also we take care of EU VAT completely.
Check us out! https://payhip.com
Update: I wrote a quick post on migrating from Plasso: https://payhip.com/blog/migrating-from-plasso/
Hey!
I've just launched Trolley - https://trolley.link this week to solve exactly these kinds of problems.
Right now it's single-purchase only, but I'm aiming to roll out subscriptions and digital downloads next (targeting the next 2 weeks for both)
I'd love to talk to you about what you need, and see if Trolley can help you. Message me on here, or rg@trolley.link if you'd like 😊
By the way congrats to Drew Wilson (not on here but a true Indie Hacker) for the exit!
The Gumroad checkout looks better than average to me. I think you'd be silly to not look into it for that reason alone.
I can help with your Stripe integration. Sent you a mail.
Hey Jonny,
Anyway, have you checked out Podia? (https://www.podia.com/?via=derek)
It's really awesome these days (membership + digital downloads + more!) Now... that's my affiliate link and I NEVER post those, but this is one of those products that I honestly use and can recommend. So, it's a win-win to help fellow Indie Hackers. 😄
You'll be up in running in just 2 minutes and Stripe integration with multiple payments and is so easy too. Super reasonable pricing too.
Hopefully that helps you and anyone else reading this post,
Derek
I'm using SendOwl – https://www.sendowl.com?r=f5e11 – on both of my side projects (https://jekyllthemes.io/ and https://precrafted.com/) and it's been awesome – super reliable, easy to set up and manage. It also has subscriptions but I haven't used that side of things.
This looks great, just want I need. And a fellow Londoner! Thanks Mike.
"doesn't look like crap (sorry Gumroad)" lmao. I am beginning to dislike Gumroad more and more. Not sure why. Well, besides really just wanting to roll my own ebook selling on my site instead of using Gumroad.
I haven't tried if myself but I've seen people talk about wirize.com and he put out a bunch if useful themes here one time.
