PSA: Please upvote posts/comments you reply to
I recently posted my landing page asking for feedback and while I got good feedback, I realized those who replied didn't upvote my comments even though I've upvoted theirs.
I don't mean to single out my post necessarily, I'm sure it happens on other people's as well, and I know votes are just arbitrary numbers, but it's a nice thing to do for each other and I think doing so connects us together more as a community.

I don't think we should have to ask for upvotes. Although this post inspired me to think of a change.
Upvotes (for me) is a measurement of the quality of discussion generated by a post/comment and not wether or not you agree with it.
What if you automatically upvoted everything you answered on, leaving you only with the option to downvote or remove that upvote. Those who do not engage in the discussion will still have the option to do both.
I have also noticed that is very uncommon to get upvoted, even though posts are generating discussion.
