Running MVP on Google Sheets

How do you guys feel for trimming all the fat for the MVP/beta and just presenting you idea (in this case its an app where I'm selling particular data/metrics) as a Google Sheet? (Whilst also charging for it)

It feels like I'm wasting my time playing with Bootstrap when I could focus on the value add bits... thoughts?

Just an update - I created Catsnatcher on Google Sheets and now its live on https://betalist.com :) Will follow-up with a post on my experiences next week...

Totally... I am doing one on Airtable right now... A crypto verified videos and music certification program.

I would always advice to doing a code-less MVP whenever possible. Saves a lot of time. But your MVP has to prove the correct hypothesis.

IMHO it's totally fine if your target audience understands the structure and data. MVP actually can be anything that will help evaluate your idea and, what's the most important thing, its value for them.

Agreed. Be careful to fully understand your value proposition, though. If your value proposition is "you can already do this with a Google Sheet but my application will make it better because X", showing a MVP of what is already possible might not be the best idea. If you're introducing something brand new, go for it!
