seeking advice for making a start up profitable

I spent a few months building a product (https://dashlyapp.io) and I am looking for some inexpensive ways to market and drive sales. I am trying to steer clear of Facebook and Google ads. I am also currently building up a blog to help with SEO. What are some other good ways to drive sales to a new SaaS?

@we8mast3r , it would be nice to see the website to help more specifically.

*Cold emails are the most common sales technique

*Posting the product in websites like Product Hunt/Betalist will generate some leads too.

*Find forums where people have spoken about the problem you are solving and approach them with your solution.

Recently I started digging into this topic too because I'm creating a kind of SaaS too.

I found many free ways to do marketing. The only problem I don't have enough resources to use all of them. But I can list them to you:

    • email subscription (free till couple of thousand on mailchimp)

    • content marketing (free using Medium)

    • twitter (free)

    • SEO of course (free)

    • lead magnets (free or low cost).

For Pulseproduct.com the best ways I have found is:

    • Posting on relevant forums (Reddit, Quora, niche forums)

    • Quora Ads

    • Reddit Ads

    • Reaching out to individuals and asking if they'd like to try it (first 10 or so customers)

I plan to offer an affiliate program soon, and offer 60% or so of revenue to blogs that link to my product, which I think will be the top driver of sales.
