I’m about to release a web app, but some legalities are holding me back. My web app provides betting cards with 100s of slots each card. Site doesn’t do middle man or collect any money for bets. Although card holders can subscribe to the site to get more features like, get more than 2 card, no ads in their card, etc…
My questions are, do I need to get permit for this kind of web app even if the site doesn’t collect bets? or this will be hassle in the end that I should move on and forget about this app?

Hey @bonthebeerman since this is a legality issue, I would definitely suggest consulting with a lawyer who has domain experience.
Lawyers can be expensive, I would suggest you write to lawyers explaining the app is just experimental and that ideally you wouldn't want to spend too much on lawyers fees and maybe just want an hour or two legal consultation done.
