Show IH: How we keep our customers engaged at Manypixels

Hey guys,

Thought I'd show a small marketing trick we did to keep our customers engaged with us and feel more connected to our brand.

Basically as a service startup / marketplace we consider our customers as our "bosses" and thus want to give them a weekly updates on how we are doing (and that includes our metrics).

Here is an example of a weekly email we send -- btw feel free to DM me if you want to be included in it :)

    Hey Robin,

    I was wondering for a while - how do you deal with bureaucracy and/or taxes for such business while not living in your home country?

      No worries at all! We're using two market entry companies in the countries we are located that do everything for us (legal, accounting, payroll, ...). That comes at a cost though (about $10,000 USD per year in total I would say).

        Gotcha! Since you scaled quite quickly, I thought this might be a hurdle, but seems like you're already 5 steps ahead! (in comparison to hiring workers as freelancers and having a company registered back in Europe)
