Hey Indie Hackers,
Every weekend since launching our website builder (https://www.launchaco.com/) my cofounder and I have spent working on new tools for our users.
The first of which is a free AI-powered Logo Builder (https://www.launchaco.com/logo)
We found that a lot of our users don't have the budget, time, or any design software to make a logo with. 'Free Logo Builder' serves as a tool to create a minimum viable logo until you have the means to team up with a designer to take your logo to the next level.
We also open sourced our data sets and some rudimentary a.i. if you want to build something similar https://github.com/launchaco/logo_builder or check out how it all works behind the scenes :)

I'd personally be careful of using logo builders that don't publicly disclose what fonts they're using. We learned pretty early on in building this that most logo builders illegally resell fonts :S
Launchaco disclose the fonts they're using and give full credit to the original font and icon authors
Just tried this out and got stuck on the font selection. I can't see an obvious way of saying "this one".
Every time I click on a different font, it displays another font but I can't see how to tell it to stop!
I'm using Chrome and a desktop PC if that helps!
I had to click on ~10 fonts before it moved on.
Same experience! I wonder if it is different on other devices.
It looks like it builds a list of your selected fonts so you can interchange them once the logo is 'completed'. Listing all of the fonts would be a long list I'm sure.
Ah. It could probably do with a bit of explanatory text then because I had no idea what I was doing!
Damn, your promotional videos are probably the best ones I have seen in a while. Great product too!
Appreciate it, Bart and samparry! We went all out creating the video (rented lighting equipment, camera, dolly etc). I want to make some sort of tutorial on IH in the future about how we've made both of our launch videos on a budget :)

How has vue.js worked out for you?

I've been on teams that have done things in angular, react, elm, but nothing compares to vue for me.
That being said that's a reflection of my skills as I'm most comfortable in vanilla html, css, and javascript. I don't consider myself much of a programmer, but I feel very comfortable in vue.
awesome, but when I download an icon, it only downloads the txt file... maybe a bug, but cool service!
Good stuff! I am not looking for logos for projects right now, but I popped a couple of my projects into the tool and it made some really nice looking results! Thanks for sharing

Suggestion: Speed up the select icon part and add more icons if possible (From Flaticon, maybe)
Are the searchable icons from the noun project not enough for you? We can show more on scroll possibly :)
We inject the selected icon into about 100 places that's why it's so slow, there are some things we can do to speed it up for sure just haven't had a chance to do it yet :( sorry for the inconvenience

this is a beautiful product.
I can say that I have used Launchaco many times and love what they have going (if I'm being honest), and I did try out the logo service and it's pretty darn awesome - I see this as something you can do for an MVP when you don't want to waste vast amounts of time but you do want to get something nice out there.
On a side note I'm looking forward to when Launchaco adds some more features such as free form text blocks but for now they are definitely one of my top picks for MVP landing pages and now logos.
Next feature, it's in a branch and almost done!
