Virtual CoWorking Spaces

Hey Guys,

long time lurker here. I'm following the community along and absorbing interviews as much as I can. If you'd ask me I could easily provide a good reason why I didn't bring most (or any recently) of my ideas to market yet. So much about me.

I'm very much inclined by the idea of having Epics, Dailys you can feel accountable for and share with the community. And here I thought with my remote teams I have these Dailys via Skype why not add this personal component here as well if that's something you guys would like to have too.

I'm envisioning a virtual Co-Working Space for Indie Hackers. I do love real world Co Working Spaces and co and would love to partly port this concept to our community.

So for now i've created a Discord Server (https://discord.gg/8yXPW7), if you have anything to say to my technical choice of Discord instead of for example Slack please let me know i'd love to discuss this choice.

One feature of discord i think could be the most important if not the feature for a virtual CoWorking Space are voice chat rooms.

Just imagine: the beautiful wooden table you are sitting at and next to this dude typing on his notebook furiously.

And in this small pause of his keyboard war when he takes air and mumbles a small curse. You ask him: "What's your trouble mate" and the two of you get into a very interesting conversation about the up and downs of a microservice architecture.

That's how I envision this Discord Server.
