Last Monday I put my little side project Startup Costs up on Product Hunt. It is a collection of transparent startups sharing their monthly running costs. It's free to list your startup and signup is as simple as can be—no password needed or email verification (this has some downsides which I will address soon).
Since I think this might be interesting to you too, here are some stats since then.

Anything you are missing. Want me to look into?
Thanks for sharing the impact of Product Hunt #1. Really love the idea too!
Would love to hear more about your approach to getting to #1 on PH?
Nothing real special @MrGaryFox. The product itself did the most work (I hope). Some products simply click better with the PH crowd. I would never add my B2B products on there, for instance. Things I did on purpose:
post as early as possible (since I am now in CET timezone this was easy: 9am);
crafted all text (tagline, description and first comment);
spent an hour or two making good looking images;
shared the link with the world (twitter + email subscribers. at the time only about 80 or so in total :));
be active within the comments + on twitter with people sharing your link throughout the day (aka community building).
Nice work 😊 Just gave you an upvote, even though it might be a little late
Thanks Davis! Hope you find Startup Costs interesting too. 😊
Thanks for sharing your data. It’s super helpful to see what to expect from a PH launch. It’s actually much less direct visits than I expected.
Thanks! ✌️
No hard statistics on this but scrolling through PH of the past week, I see fairly low numbers in terms of upvotes this might correlate to click-throughs.
This is awesome @eelcoj! Congrats on a successful launch. Your side project looks great. Neat idea!
Thriving stats! Is there any different in search engine traffic?
You mean if search traffic has gone up? It has, but slightly. That's a longer play any way. The idea (and hope) is that the products directory will help increase this too.
Otherwise traffic is still mostly referral (in order): Twitter, facebook, various blogs, linkedin. And about 10% are returning visits.
congratulations!
