What open source are you working on for Hacktoberfest?
I woke up to 9 pull requests this morning on my startup idea generating twitter bot. It's pretty fun to see people excited to share and work together.
Is your side project open source? What other things are you planning to contribute to this month? Personally, I'm using gitcoin.co to find good open source projects to get my PRs done, while also getting paid.
Yes, my entire startup is open source (https://getartemis.app). Still in the landing page validation stages but I'm planning on releasing v1 this month, and you can find the source at www.github.com/satvikpendem/artemis
I can't wait to see more! I guess we're semi-competitors haha. I open sourced http://brisaboards.com and it has a lot of similarities, but a lot of differences as well.
Side note: I really wanted to go with GPL, but I was worried about the complexities of offering a hosted version and decided to use MIT license in the end (with a little nudging from a friend who is a BSD fanatic).
We're working on DevFlight and just launched an MVP. We support OSS projects and will likely open-source parts of our codebase.
