Thanks Mattijs... So you are selling on-premise solutions? That's cool because we are also selling on-premise email marketing solution on Octeth.

Yes, we do. Our main product is Pagestead, a self-hosted, white label DIY web site builder.
Very cool to see others doing self-hosted/on-premise products! It often feels like everyone is doing SaaS/subscription products these days.
Octeth looks very interesting! And it's been around since 1999. Would love to connect with you sometime and swap war stories if you're interested ;)

Sure! And yes, I'm a big believer in on-prem solutions... We have started our business selling on-prem softwares back in 1999... Then SaaS popped up and everyone focused on SaaS, but there's GREAT opportunity in on-prem solutions, especially after GDPR ;)
Happy to connect. Feel free to reach me out via cem@sendloop.com

Hey Cem! This is a great question and last week I published a new article on how I acquired my first 10 customers for Cronhub. I shared my journey and all the steps I have taken so hopefully this will be useful for you. Also, if you have questions I'm happy to answer. https://blog.cronhub.io/how-i-acquired-my-first-10-customers-for-cronhub/

In Customerly.io we started sharing the platform with 5 of our entrepreneur friends.
We started acquiring users thanks to the referral link on the bottom of the live chat widget that those friends have on their websites.
After this, we were featured in some journals, growth marketing books and by internet marketers in their blog.
Everything happened frictionless because I guess the quality of the product itself made the difference.

That's cool Luca... I agree, if your product is perfect for the target customer, marketing needs less effort... Product sells itself.

Sendloop: Outreaching our Octeth customers (2008)
Sendloop Studio: Cold emailing (2018)
PreviewMyEmail: Outreaching our Octeth custoemrs (2009)
ReferralMagic: Organic / SEO(we haven't focused on SEO) (2018)
