Where do you find awesome affiliates (and is that a good option)?

I'm selling a $650/yr membership so I can afford to give out massive affiliate commissions. I haven't decided yet if that's a route I want to go down, but if it is... where the heck do I start? Individual outreach to podcasters and bloggers? Or is there some sort of secret society that I don't know about?
