Hi all, first time posting here after a friend suggested I give it a try for my question.
I've been building a side project, and am just finishing up an MVP. That means I'm about ready to find a generalist developer to partner with for the beta product and beyond.
Since I'm bootstrapping the project, I'm looking for someone keen on an all-equity/co-founder role. It's important that someone shares the vision of early monetization and a healthy, scalable revenue model. In other words, someone who is not looking to be "the next Facebook", but a thriving, sustainable business.
The project is related to the "Digital Nomad" community and travel, so not only am I open to a remote co-founder, but would actually prefer it. Very open to other countries, but unfortunately English is my only fully fluent language.
I'm talking to some devs and working on an actual listing post, so if the answer is "look here", I'll have more info soon! But mainly looking for advice at this point.
Thanks in advance!
You have probably found the right place here on IH already. If you don't get enough replies you may need experiment with better wording to attract the interest of a potential co-founder.
For example, rather than asking "Where would you search for a CTO/co-founder?", you could instead say "Looking for a tech co-founder for Digital Nomad industry" and the go into whatever details you are willing to disclose in the main body of your post.
Also nobody should be discouraged if English is not their first language. There are people on Twitter than think I am multi-lingual with all of English, German, Spanish, French and Italian. Truth is I only studied Italian for about 2 years over 30 years ago but I know how to use Google Translate!
Hi, i'm looking to start something new. Let me know if interested.
