I'd be interested in a tshirt. BUT, I think exclusivity would hold some weight in this community.
Not just ANYBODY can order one. It's a badge of honor to receive one for some type of milestone. It would make a $20 t-shirt feel like a $200 t-shirt if that was the case.

Haha but then we are far less likely to see other hackers
As a t-shirt savvy guy I would, but the quality of the cotton and the printing method will be crucial for me.

Awesome

I have a better idea, let's do a design + campaign. All proceedings go towards building a pot, at the end of the year if you bought the t-shirt you can vote for the community member of the year and he gets that money!
That way you have limited tshirt + awesome design + you get a competition to promote good behaviours and collaboration.
I guess if @csallen isn't against it, ofc, that would be dope to do!

Lots of options for this to work.
Following Elon’s 20 dollar boring hat he was able to sell them like crazy and fund an initial boring test. Did the same with his 500 dollar flame thrower.
Then there’s the Reddit shirt that was a secret prize gifted by mods and carried much street cred in a way that gold couldn’t touch.
It could be associated with an IH fundraiser of some kind or use it to fund an indie hacker conf. Especially if the shirts have a premium price to it. I mean there could be stickers or mugs to support a ‘swag for good’ type of campaign.
Or it could be a side hustle that has great designs for the IH community.

I would buy at 20$ but also my handle should on that.

Super idea @DavePoly
Like that idea!
Assuming that I like the design, and trust the quality, I'd pay $20 including shipping.
Same here. $30 is a pair of shoes here.
Awesome @Merott Thanks for your feedback
