What are you working on this weekend?
Don't hustle till you die. But weekends are a great time to get stuff done. What are you working on this weekend? What can we as a community help you with?
Bit of maintenance on https://reviewdrop.io and thinking about another side project to start. I'm an addict after launching my first 😂
Nice. Is reviewdrop for any website or Shopify stores etc?
Any website! It’s an embedable widget that can go on either side of your site.
I'm writing a blog post for https://seodity.com in which I'm doing a review of ~20 Free SEO tools.
also interested in the final post.
Please share the final post. Thx!
Working on the build pipeline for https://thezenjournal.com. Ideally, want to run one command and have it build for both android and ios, run test while generate screenshots in multiple device sizes, frame screenshots with localizations, and then deliver it to beta programs.... I think I'm 60% there...
nice. Generating screenshots for me was difficult when I submitted my app to the AppStore.
Thanks! I'm using fastlane + detox + some custom script to capture screenshots, and record video for App Preview assets in my detox spec helper.
I implemented some basic statistics for https://careerin.tech/statistics with https://formidable.com/open-source/victory . Went pretty smooth. I'm not sure if it's of interest to anybody than me. But I had fun implementing it.
Sometimes if a project is fun that is a reward in and of itself. :)
I've just finished building an MVP for a new product idea that I've been grinding out for the past 6 weeks. Going to soft launch on Monday.
sweet! What is the area or industry?
I'm finishing a blog post for https://frequently.io titled "Your Website Needs a FAQ Page". ☕️
Love that. Because lets be honest, all websites need an FAQ page.
I completely agree! And most that are just starting don't need one that is overly complicated and expensive. That's exactly why I'm working on https://frequently.io :)
I'd love any feedback you might have if you end up checking it out!
Working out at a CrossFit competition. Not sure how you can help... 🤣
sending cheers! You got this. 🏋️♂️
Writing the second blogpost for Ambissues blog on how we used user feedback for our product development and adding dashboards to our reports view.
Checked out Ambissues. Looks cool. What went into the name. I see the root 'issues' but what does the Amb mean?
Btw here is our first blogpost, in case you wanna find out more on the intuition
Thanks a lot Josh! 'Amb' means absolutely nothing, thanks for asking! :D Just that the nickname may be "Ambi" :D
I'm trying to simplify the OAuth2/OpenID concept to provide a practical solution for any projects needed in the future. 30 hours straight. Hell ya!
OAuth2 seems brutal. I haven't used it in any of my apps.
Yes. That's why I need to simplify it and provide a more realistic concept. The idea is that it needs to be quick to apply it and total control of all your authentication flows. Also, it would make you loosely couple to any other providers.
practicing a coding course tutorials in react ,I will start building my product in react after finishing the tut
nice! I found when I was learning to code Swift that starting the project and then doing tutorials around what I was trying to build was super useful as well. Good luck!
I will add other features to my Android Game, called AFROQUIZ (a Free game with IAPs available in Google Playstore, the pourpose of the game is test your knowledge level about famous africanamericans and other black leaders of black history)
Very cool. What features are you adding? And how did you decide on that feature?
I am hosting a 3 hours online work session on Sat
I am finishing chat feature
I am adding payment processing to my app
LOVE what I am doing so do not mind spending the weekend on it.
awesome. Sounds like you have a great plan!
Thanks - what are you up to?
Working on an article about how to get discovered on YouTube with 0 subs.
I'm writing code to make distortions on an image when you speak at a certain volume. I'm also going to edit some youtube videos and build up my website.
