Work smart, not hard sound's cliché but is vital for effectiveness - e.g. Pareto's Principle:
Learning to focus our efforts on the right tasks can make us over 4x more effective.
Clutter = any new venture that doesn’t exclusively contribute to our desired outcome.
With our time and energy being finite - clutter prevents progress because it distributes magnitude.
The more generalised the task, the more generalised the skillsets required. This places unrealistic expectations on generalists to keep up with specialists.
