1 week out to our official launch, we would really appreciate any feedback on design, copy, and flow.

I like the idea of having MakerLog + IndieHackers + Twitter + AngelList all in one.
The question is, how is the traction going to come?
It would be cool to see some actual profile of real people on the homepage and I would move the "motivation" wall-of-text to a different page and link it from the homepage to there.

Basically what's missing - in my perspective - its the not the visual attraction, visually it looks really well made; rather the incentive to actually join showwcase.

Hey @orliesaurus! Thanks so much for the feedback.

Yes absolutely, I think we should show some of our leading users on the homepage as you mentioned. Noted on the incentive, in fact, we're redeploying the latest of Showwcase in a week, and will update the landing page accordingly! The incentive will be clear, "Come to Showwcase to connect, learn and stay updated with the community, and ultimately, find new future of work opportunities".
