IH launch & feedback request — Mockly! Stunning product mockups in minutes

Hi everyone!

I recently started a lot of people using simple 3d mockups for their Product Hunt and Gumroad launches. I also just started learning about 3D on the web and thought to maybe combine the two.

And so Mockly was born.

It is a simple app that lets you generate simple mockups for your launches.

Check it out here: https://mockly.xyz

I am looking for feedback on:

  • the landing page - design, value proposition clear?
  • product functionality
  • pricing - Free plan good enough? Pro plan pricing justified

A free plan provides you access to many features while the PRO plan gives you full access for LIFETIME.

IH community can use the coupon "indielove" ❤️ while checkout to get 60% off on the lifetime PRO plan. Only valid for first 10 users

What do these boxes even represent? Like I get when it's a book mockup, apps, shirts, DVDs and it's boxes...
But this box doesn't look like much IMHO

      Thanks for the feedback.

The idea is that you can change the dimensions, sizes and viewing angles to make this box look like something relevant. You can login and play around for free to get a better idea

That said, I am working on adding more types of mockups for different types of products

Why I specifically picked this type was because I have seen a lot of people using something like this recently. Here are some products that use this:

      https://gumroad.com/l/2-free-sections

I'm not a graphic designer, so I can't point exactly to the gap, but it's night and day the examples you link vs your version... Your missing something possibly tiny that makes a big difference

          That is very fair.

The ones that I am generating are using pure CSS while the ones that are linked are "possibly" done using design tools.

I will work on improving the actual product to make the final result more beautiful and realistic

          Thanks for the feedback again

Maybe it's gradient colour, but the examples have a lighting effect that I think might be a big difference in looks
