$ 3.000 revenue before even launching - in under one month: The story of Float.

Quick summary of this weeks Indiebrands interview with Blake & Zack the founders of Float. 💬

What's Float & its value?
So Float is a tool that converts Notion docs into interactive, sellable courses. Float is really designed for people who want to make money selling courses but also love the flexibility of Notion. It's a small subset of people, but we really think Float will be the fastest way for Notion lovers to monetize their content.

How did you reach >900 sign-ups pre-launch?
Blake has built up a sizable Twitter following (15K strong) that is very engaged with his content. So far our marketing efforts have only been on Twitter and word of mouth, but we are planning to expand into other channels after we've polished the product more.

Essential skills for a successful entrepreneur?
Persistence and drive are the two most important.

Will be interesting to see how this goes. Love the idea of using the simplicity of Notion to power courses!

    1. 2

It's definitely a product idea with a lot of potential. A similar product is potion.so - basically using notion as a CMS to build websites. Check it out! & btw: We'll be interviewing its owner Noah Bragg soon.
