8 different Ecommerce experts share tips on Blackfriday 2020.

Hi Indie Hackers,

I work for a Digital and Technology membership organisation in the UK and recently created a blog piece that I think could be of some value to the indie hackers community. The blog piece showcases top tips to help businesses get the most from this years Blackfriday.

The article has a lot more information but i've tried to break it down into managable chunks for you.

THE BREAKDOWN:

👉 A well-balanced build-up campaign can be the most direct and efficient ways of building awareness + excitement

👉 Use ad creative that is aligned and on-brand with what shoppers will see on your landing pages.

👉 Think how you can incentivise your existing customers to introduce you to potential new customers.

👉 Increase your website capacity to be able to handle surges in web traffic

👉Over 54% of all ecommerce sales will be conducted on a mobile. Not being mobile friendly = lost revenues

👉 To convert website visitors into customers, test and keep testing. Nobody can build the perfect conversion machine on their first try.

👉 Show clarity on stock, delivery times and use competitive pricing.

👉 Be aware of Brand Catfishing. During online purchase days such as Black Friday, fraudsters drive traffic to fake websites and attempt to either steal card details and credentials or put charges on people's cards.

Let me know if any of this has been useful, i'm hoping to contribute a lot more to this community because I find the Indie hackers podcast to be invaluable.
