Hello, my fellow Indiehackers,
My name is Parker and I am part of the team on Saastronautics, a launchpad for SaaS startups.
To celebrate our launch and to try and grow our audience, we are running a giveaway.
We haven't started running any ads yet, so these results are all organic.
In just 36 hours, we currently have 8000+ visits and 400+ new leads.
The goal for this campaign is:
Check the landing page
https://marantas.com/viral-campaign/
Our main strategy for this giveaway was to gain partnership/sponsorship with as many SaaS companies as possible.
Also, we made sure there were many winners. All participants receive small prizes like a 15% discount code from us in addition to exclusive discounts and free packages from well-known brands.
This is our first big campaign and we're launching our first deal this week (we just opened out site last week).
I'm sharing with others here to gain some insight and feedback.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment!
Thank you for reading :)
Hi Parker,
I looked at your landing page, but there's something I don't understand - who is this for?
Is it for SAAS founders, or for people to spread the word about your sponsors?
same, I read 3 times, and I still have no clue what is the product
I sometimes wonder if such a strategy actually gives quality leads or just "leads". Because many a times people sign up to get rewarded and then they never convert or respond on follow up emails. Thus it ends up being a vanity metric and doesn't act as a strong validator for actual sales or meaningful conversions.
Awesome! I hope we get some insights from fellow indiehackers!
