A community for Movie Makers and Actors - MVP
Problem:
One of my friends, who directs short films had a problem of finding artists and other technical teams to make a movie.
Existing Method:
Hiring talented actors and technical members was either done through friendly contacts or social media, which often is not so productive.
Proposed idea:
To develop a web application which allows prospective talent to show case their work and contact other technical members or artists.

Plan picture brings a common platform for artists, directors, producers, and story writers. Also allows an artist to participate in more than one interest. For example, an director can also be a story writer.
Artists from India and USA only can register for now. We will be bringing more countries as the demand increases.

Pretty interesting. I imagine the way to acquire a lot of users through this is to get more famous short film directors to the platforms. You pull several levers this way:
a) Actors will be familiar with the director, and by saying that "X director is looking for actors here", they'll go and register
b) Famous directors follow other famous directors, and by seeing one of their peers is using you, they'll likely register there themselves (seen this in so many IH interviews, one competitor uses a product, others notice, they start using it too)
c) If you accomplish a) and b) you create a nice viral loop. More famous directors joins, more actors join as a consequence, and the circle repeats over and over and over again.
