A gift service built on top of popular shopping apps.

I want to be able to send someone a gift without that person having to give out their address. The flow of this in my head would go like this.

I go to giftly.io (made up trendy domain name) and I hit a send gift button.

From there I pick one of the popular online stores from their list and paste a link to the item I want to send.

I finally put in the email address of the person I want to send it to.

The receiver gets an email essentially saying this person wants to send you a gift from target.com. ( We say the site name because the app would need the brand recognition as to not appear like spam or a scam). would you like to accept this gift?

If the user says yes, (within 24 hrs) the user can enter their address, which will not be saved unless the user decides to create an account.

The application will then notify me the user has accepted the gift, and I can pay for it.

After I pay for the gift, code magic in the back places the order and sends it to their place.

I want this because this is a safe way to accept gifts from people online at a variety of popular stores without having to compromise security.

-All gifts have to be consented before they are received.

  • A trusted middleman creates the order.
  • The gifts can only come from the trusted sources the middleman (giftly.io) has approved. (target, Walmart, etc.)

What's in it for you?

  • You can be the amazon wishlist of the internet.
  • Only fans is hot right now, and people have been buying gifts for women in that line of work for literal centuries.
  • You can take a fee for every gift purchased through that platform.

Further improvements down the line could be:

If a person has a account through the services as a receiver. They can set it to only accept gifts of a certain type, or that all gifts be revealed to them before approval.

Someway to send receivers the amount of money they received in gift value for the year. ( for tax purposes)

Viral growth:

You can advertise it as a way to send gifts to co-workers without it being creepy for birthdays and the like.

The ability for a receiver user to tweet out their account. (I'd imagine it look something like this)

Tweet:

This freaking top at target is amazing. If any one of you wonderful people want to see me dress up and take pictures in this you can click here giftly.io/u/noturavggurl?shop=target.com?item_number=H4H28D4J4RJ2

End Tweet:

That is not a real link btw please don't click it.
