A new group for talking about Customer Support

Hi fellow IHers,

I just started a group dedicated to talking about customer support: Customer Support Heroes

I've been a solo founder for most of my bootstrapping/developer career. A necessity of this is that I've also been the one doing most or all of the customer support.

This group is dedicated to all those bootstrappers who are working alone or in small teams. This is a place where we can discuss how we're handling support, ask each other questions on managing difficult cases, and share our successes.

Why a customer support group?

It's easy to become burnt out from customer inquiries and requests.

Sometimes we just need a place to ask fellow IH colleagues questions (eg. "How are you handling refunds for X situation?") or vent (eg. "Oh my, you won't believe what this customer asked me.")

It's also super helpful to learn how others are facing support challenges (eg. hiring, training, feedback). I know that I have written a bunch of templates over the years in how I deal with challenging customer questions, which I'm looking forward to sharing as soon as I get them organized. I'm certain the IH community at large here has a lot of knowledge that would enrich members of this group.

So, here's the link to the group: https://www.indiehackers.com/group/customer-support-heroes

Come join and post your customer success stories & lessons.
