About to launch a new curated resources website for Digital Nomads

Hi IH!
I'm about to launch RemotePlanet.io a platform for DN, remote workers & travelers, with a huge amount of resources by different categories like: Tools, Remote companies, Articles, Books, Insurance, Retreats, etc.

Do you miss something? Feedback? Opinions? Thanks in advance!

WOW! congrats for the site, quite a bit of info you were able to gather there. I think some of it will be helpful personally.

    Comments:

    1. at first glace, the site seems pretty heavy to load in any of it's categories, don't think is graphics heavy just too much info to be display

    2. You have a navbar that you could get more juice out of it: bookshelf, facts, videos, places are not in there and you must scroll down to be able to see them, some people might leave the site w/out being able to discover all the interesting info below. Don't throw away all the beautiful job you did curating the info.

    3. CTA for the newsletter definetly on top, in a better prominet place. that should be the single most important element for you (making a mailing list). Show them all the exciting things they will get if they subscribe.

some questions: which tool did you use to build it? I might have some specific questions (if you allow me to ask further) on how you did certain things within your site for a personal project.

    Exito!!

Thanks @JMarceloFig for your nice comment and feedback.

      1. You are absolutely right with the performance issues, I build it as MVP and I have to improve it a lot.
      2. Nice! I will do it, that's true, I could get more juice!
      3. Another certain comment, will do it too!

You can ask anything you want, I will be glad to explain here. Currently, the tech stack are:

      • Vue.js + Bootstrap + HTML5 + CSS and with JSON.
It's all front end and I manage the login with Blockstack API.

Thanks again, and good luck with your personal project!

Hey Alfredo, thanks for your feedback. I already have a newsletter signup in the bottom part of every page with Mailchimp.
