Adding inline images on Indie Hackers

I've seen some people struggling to add inline images either in posts or comments.

Here's a quick example how I do with Imgur. Assuming you have already created an Imgur account

1/ Go to menu>images

ImgurHome

2/ Add Images

Select add images button and select the desired image. After uploading it, Imgur will display this page
ImgurUploadedImage

3/ Grabbing Markdown

Choose the image you want to add on IH and copy the Markdown link value
ImgurMarkdown

4/ Adding to IH

Paste the markdown link adding the exclamation the point before the [ character. It can be done either on post or comment.

5/ Final result

In case anyone is also having trouble, you may have to manually add the file type (i.e. jpg, png) to the end of your imgur markdown link:

Sadly, it seems imgur has restricted account registration. Is there any other good platform similar to imgur which we can use?
