Hey IH,
I'm super excited to announce the launch of my second project. It's called Wanderer.js and it's the first step towards my vision of the future of user onboarding.
In its current form Wanderer.js is a library that you embed onto your website and allows you to programatically generate beautiful tooltips to guide your users through your website.
User onboarding was always the missing piece for the launch for my other projects. The commercial products were always way too expensive and the open source options were very limited.
I initially started with the scope out of control and slowly realised that I was losing motivation to complete it. So I scaled it down to the most basic version. My missing for stage 1 was - Allow developers to create interactive tours of their site.
I still haven't given up on the rest of my vision, but I've broken it down into more manageable steps.
Stage 2) No code tooltip builder
Stage 3) Hosted flow builder (No code complete onboarding flows)
Stage 4) Autonomous user onboarding
