Hi IHers -
I'm currently in the process of building a consumer-facing mobile app.
I wanted to reach out to the community here to see if there were any other builders of consumer-facing mobile apps.
I'd love to connect to chat through the challenges of building a consumer-facing mobile app and to share tips and tricks on improving the app. And of course to cheer each other on!
Hey Sam, I'm building this for iOS https://www.indiehackers.com/product/no-meat-today. Twitter DMs are open.
IndieHackers is heavy on SaaS, but apps can also be SaaS? I don't know. I have realized that most of the people here make web apps as creating mobile apps takes more investment and time.
I am an Android Developer trying to build backend service for my app - Taskito.
Hey, I was wondering the same thing -- I keep seeing all the SaaS products here and on Twitter but no mobile apps.
I started to wonder whether it still makes sense to make ones if nobody seems to have "success" with them 😅
I'm native Android Dev, but I loved Flutter and now I'm switching to it.
What do you guys think about some Telegram/Discord mobile group to exchange experiences? I'd love to share experience regarding mobile app ASO, marketing and paid apps.

yep I picked up flutter after dabbling around in python and js and realized I needed something beyond a web app. its been tricky at times but also very rewarding having made progress on a big personal project and releasing a beta version to users.
