Any recommendations on wire framing apps?

I'm looking to build a nano SaaS product and I'm thinking about wire framing first. Any recommendations on an app / software to use for that part of it?

Ideally something free (or cheap) and I'd love it if there was an iPad app as well, but I can live without that if needed.

Thanks in advance!

    Free

It depends what you want to get from the wireframes.
On iPad I am using Good Notes for sketching the UI and iterating in a "free form".

By the way, how much smaller your nano SaaS is than "micro" SaaS? Do you need a wireframe larger than one sheet of a paper if it is a "nano" SaaS? 😏

I just started with Justinmind - will keep you posted! I'm hesitant to do freeform and would rather some components prebuilt (navbar, forms, etc).

As for nano-SaaS, targeting $9/month. I wrote up my rules here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/the-beginning-of-my-nano-saas-journey-e1c5bb8670

I would suggest you to not wireframe but instead prototype it in the "dirty" way by creating low fidelity prototypes. You could call them also "interactive wireframes".

I published a free playbook recently where I explain step by step how to do it. The tool I use is framer.com and it's free. In the book you will see why Framer is the best tool to use and why wireframes and mockups are a thing of the past.

Hope it's going to be useful!

Thanks so much for the idea - I'll check out the book for sure! The point of prototyping is mostly for me to figure out how things will work are laid out. But your idea of interactive wireframes seems a bit better.

@Shamoons know many people are gonna tell you this, but I'll still type it anyways!

    It's figma.

Trust me, I run a design agency and we still use figma as one of the primary ways to do wire framing. It's efficient, quick and gets the job done which is the most important thing at the end of the day.

Adobe XD is pretty great for wireframing. Same with Figma.
