Anyone use sketch?

Anyone use sketch? What do you use it for?

  1. 4

I've used it for years, but last year switch to Figma and never looked back.

    Interested why you're asking :)

Thanks for sharing! Noticed @harrydry and @1hakr created some nice visuals with it recently. Might have an idea in mind where I could use quick visuals 😉 Will be checking out Figma now too :)

      I second this two.

And because of that, here is a color file that I made.

+1 - Better in almost every way!

For all app and web designs, sometimes poster etc.

I love Sketch. I use it for app mockups, logos, icons, and App Store screenshots

Thanks Jared! Have any links to things you’ve created?

      1. 2

Sure do! This entire app (including the app logo/icon) was designed in sketch (aside from some basic icons, shoutout to icons8 dot com).

Give it a download and browse if you like

🤩 Like this! App logo has kind of a TikTok vibe, cool product!

          1. 2

Haha very purposeful. The app is a satire of TikTok

    You may switch to Figma:

    ✅ Free
    ✅ Online
    ✅ No downloads
✅ Share your designs easily with a link
✅ Design collaboratively in the same file

But Sketch has some cool features, like mirror screen from your Mac to your iPhone allowing you to see your changes in realtime in it.

Thanks for breaking down the details! Free is always a plus, but I do have a Mac so the mirroring feature would be a bonus

      1. 2

        Figma has a mirror feature

      2. 2

I forgot to say that if you need to work on your designs in any other device that maybe is not yours, Figma is also a plus.
It all depends on your needs!

I used it in the past, for personal works. Mostly for UI Design, making banner.

Though, I switched to Adobe UX +1 year ago for better experience (personal feeling)

    Edit: Adobe XD

🙏 I’ll check out Adobe UX too

        My mistake, it's Adobe XD

          No prob, thanks!

I use it and love it.

A lot of my work on https://storycreatorapp.com has been inspired by sketch.

    1. 2

Wow! You’ve got a killer landing page there, story creator looks great 👍

    2. 2

On my landing there's a file with colors from the site, you can download it were it says sketch.
