Are you tracking your email performance by open/click rates only? Or are you also using revenue as a basis?

When we first built BirdSend, I wanted folks to easily know how much each of their subscriber is worth.

Not opens/clicks wise. But monetary wise. It's the most accurate indicator of a business' health.

Which is why the Average Lifetime Value (ALTV) is front & center in the UI.

But I felt it's not enough since not all traffic sources are equal.

I wanted a way to know which source brings in the highest quality subscribers (spent the most money).

Which is why we further built the ALTV broken down by campaigns, to remove ambiguity.

So that you know how your [Twitter free consult] or [Adwords free book] campaign performs.

Again, in terms of earnings, not opens or clicks.

Are you tracking your email performance by open/click rates only? Or are you also using revenue as a basis?
