Ask IH: How do you keep your product's twitter busy? How do you queue up tweets for your brand's twitter account?

I have created twitter accounts for my products.

I want those to be active and a channel to bring in traffic.

But I can't spend much time on it. Therefore, I want to prepare a bunch of tweets, queue them up (like maybe a 100 of them) and send them in short periods.

Does anyone else do that? How do you do it? (Replace "twitter" with any other social platform of your wish)

You could check out "Later". I think the free account is 50 posts.

If I could create a gsheet addon for you to publish to twitter would it interest you?

I use Ritekit to enhance and schedule posts from RSS feeds. Besides using our blog as a feed, I use Diigo to save articles I read in Chrome and then feed them into Ritekit via RSS. This ensures we always have fresh content on Twitter.

It also helps to have a few saved searches you RT from periodically. Twitter wants to see your account actually engaging and not just blasting your own links

You can try tweetdeck, it also allows to handle multiple accounts, and it's free. Perhaps it's just what you need.

I had difficulty wth tweetdeck's ui/ux to manage several accounts and schedule tweets.

      You don't have that problem?

Not really... The column on the left allows to schedule tweets for all your accounts. Normally you can switch from one account to another by pressing on the profile picture (this is how the mobile app works as well). Then you have customizable columns to show whatever you want from the accounts (i.e. notifications, time-line, hashtags, etc.) and you can just drag and drop into place.

Besides scheduling, doesn't offer more automation, but I find it very useful for managing a couple of accounts.

You can schedule content using Hootsuite or Buffer. Create a spreadsheet with a series of quotes and other content then add them to your scheduling app with pre-designated posting times.

I use Buffer to queue up social posts, you can just add them to a queue or schedule them for specific times.

I guess there is a limit there for the free account right?

I tried tweetdeck, but the UI/UX was horrible, it was very difficult to set many tweets in schedule.

How is it when it comes to Buffer?
