Ask IH: Is anyone interested in a reading club?

Yea, that's pretty much the question.

I love reading, and I love talking about books.

Would love to read a book together with a bunch of like-minded friends.

Here's what I have in mind -

  • We pick a book
  • Every week we decide which chapters or sections of the book we will read.
  • End of the week we get on a video call, discuss our favorite parts, what we liked, disliked about the book. Our ideas, thoughts, and opinions about it. (Maybe make notes as well)
  • When we finish the book, we pick up the next one 😃

Here's how it will help us -

  • We remain accountable and meet our reading goals.
  • Talking about the ideas in the book will help us absorb them better, and hopefully, apply them.

Mostly would like to focus on books around entrepreneurship - but not limited to them, can move into self-help if enough people are interested.

Right now I am reading Arvid Kahl's embedded entrepreneur.

If anyone is interested, just drop a comment below, I'll reach out via email or Twitter on your IH profile.
