Amazon S3! Super easy to set up, and instantly gives you better uptime than most enterprise level apps. You can also put a cloudfront distribution in front of it so now you have a custom domain name and a global cache so it loads faster anywhere in the world.
@gatleon I've only used it recently, but I love it. The GraphQL API is extremely declarative, with great docs. Gatsby in general sped up my site significantly, so I'm overjoyed with the results.
I have tried a lot of options listed here and IMO the best option is AWS Amplify Console.
Have hosted https://unwrangle.com here for a while now, having paid $0. The CI/CD experience is amazing (from gitlab or GitHub) and you get free SSL too.
Zeit.co and Netlify.com are both great
I second this- I absolutely love Zeit's Now service. They also maintain Next.js so the combination is just wonderful.
firebase
I also use firebase. It is free and you can point your domain to your host without paying extra
Github pages
I use Next.js and I host on Zeit Now (who also make Next.js). They're great.
Currently have a couple React/TypeScript single page apps on Netlify.com and I love it. Haven't used Zeit yet but have heard good things.
Two things I like with netlify are:
Deploy previews are really nice. I use netlify forms as well which makes it super easy to collect emails without any server-side code.

Along that note- AWS Amplify uses S3 behind the scenes and it will set up everything for you after you give it a github repo. It works really well!
I host mine in Azure as dockerized container. The save app service also runs API.
I use Netlify for my React/Gatsby site and love it!
How is Gatsby? Have you used their GraphQL mechanism at all? It looks very intriguing.

I'd recommend trying Styled Components. They are such a react.js way of building styling that I felt right at home when I got started.
@Bos There are many options for styling Gatsby sites gatsbyjs.org/docs/styling/. I use styled-components.com. Email me if you'd like help

I use zeit.co as it integrates with github
I use WordPress with Elementor Pro plugin. But of course, I have the Expert package with 1000 license. I do WordPress sites for clients too.
Netlify.com is awesome for static hosting. Carrd.co is also good, with the added advantage of a page builder, but lacking a CDN.
