Behind the scene: The Niche Generator👾
Hi there 👋
Since i've launched my niche generator, I have had a lot of positive and encouraging feedback and that makes me happy 🥳.
It's now time to tell you how I've built it. And i hope this can help people who don't have a coding background (like me).
But before the "how", keep in mind the mission:
Force the brain to start and focus on people and problems rather than ideas and products.

🎨 Design
Figma is the tool I've used for this project! You can use even Adobe XD or Sketch but Fimga is available in a web browser and some resources and tutorials are on Youtube! Figma Comunity and plugins are also a good advantage :)
What I wish I had known at this point:
- Be sure about your design, the worst thing is to take major design decisions while you implementing or coding.
- Take time to design a pretty product 💅, when it's done, it's for a long time.

Webflow here :D Since I'm happy with my Figma design, the integration in Webflow is just copy work, respect units, and layouts, nothing more!
What I wish I had known at this point:
- Take 2 or 3 weeks to learn HTML and CSS basics of basics, it helps a lot to understand the behavior of things and settings in Webflow.
🧙♂️ Logic
Sentence generation is a custom code in Webflow. It basically a pick within arrays that contain: Typical people, important things in life, and established brands.
You may notice the generated niche counter ➕. I handle it with Integromat:
- Get an item in a Webflow collection with a Webhook.
- Add +1 in Integromat.
- Update the item in the Webflow collection.
What I wish I had known at this point:
- Coding is only a tool, the problem you want to solve is the thing.
