Best Resources for AWS Exams

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for the best resources for studying for the AWS Cloud Practitioner and Solution Architect Associate exams. I'm looking to pass both of those this year and am scheduled to take the first in ~ 4 weeks.

I'm also thinking of launching a product that compiles these resources and shares actionable tips/stories from real developers. I'd love your thoughts!

A person that I work with wrote this:

I coincidentally am also using A Cloud Guru to prepare. I looked at Linux Academy as well.

Hey, i have successfully passed the AWS SA proffesional a year ago with 1.5 weeks of intensive study,
used acloud.guru which was bad IMO, their videos are no better than just an overview, their tests have the same questions 95% of the time, i would recommend Linux academy as its super detailed, i personally didn't use Linux academy but the developer team i manage did and all passes the SA associate on first try after a month of study.
Another great resource is exams on Udemy, best thing you could do is solve the same exams until you get above 90% consistently, try to find more Exams online as there are more sites that provide these exams for a one time fee.
My only disclaimer is that my team and I are developers who use AWS everyday so that probably helped, as we didn't start from scratch. good luck

Hey @jerryolives! 👋 My go-to resource to prepare for both the exams was https://acloud.guru/. They have tons of great resources, especially on topics like VPCs and lots of great practice questions and exams. I don't think I would have passed the exams without them. 😅 I am not too sure about the Cloud Practitioner one, but I felt the SA was much more difficult than the developer associate certification. So definitely look into some practice questions before the exam. Since I don't live and breathe AWS every day, I thought acloud.guru was a great way to learn about the services that AWS has to offer and to get into details that were relevant to the exam. They also have specialized courses on specific services like CloudFront, Lambda, etc. if you are interested in taking a deeper dive.
All the best with the exams! 🙌
