Blog topics

I know it's cliched but looks like blogging is still one of the best ways to drive traffic to a website. The catch is to be able to write content that hooks your reader. Friends I am looking for interesting ideas and suggestions for my Blog series. It could be anything from movies, to weather, Covid, productivity, writing hacks, earning money online.. diverse the better.
P.S. I am a co-founder at an early stage start-up Qinaps - a note-taking application for delivering flexible documents.

This advice is hardly new but it is the paradigm I follow (take it with a grain of salt as I am pretty new to blogging). Find the nexus between your own interests/hobbies/skills and pain points you have come across in your own coding/creator/startup journey. Don't be afraid to experiment and most importantly be patient with it. What I like most about this approach is that it provides value to others while also being enjoyable for you as it is tied to your personal interests.

I am really into maps, the outdoors, and data visualization. For work and side projects I build a lot of data-driven dashboards and mapping applications. In my own experience building these types of apps I have found that the available docs and blog posts only get you so far and I learned a lot of painful lessons along the way. I have turned a lot of these lessons into an ongoing Mapbox and React Deep Dives blog post series and these blog posts into a new product, The Mapbox Developers Handbook.

An idea that immediately comes to mind for you would be to showcase how Qinaps could be used in putting together blog posts and any other ways you internally use your own product/what led you to developing Qinaps/lessons learned along the way.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks Ben, its quite something to post a reply and another thing to spend time giving ideas, which is exactly what you have done. Thanks for helping me clear my mind about why I want to blog in the first place:) Why did we start Qinaps and the lessons learnt along the way! I hope we can exchange more ideas on Twitter/LinkedIn if you are on them.
