Boardgame community app aiming for MVP - looking for co-founder

Hi, I'm on and off building an app for boardgamers. I wanted a place for people to share their reviews/strategies on their boardgames. A place to challenge themselves and earn "rewards" by awarding them with custom avatars. And online battles to make people anywhere in the world compete with each other - this is basically a score leaderboard.

Here is the current state of the app: dev.aintboard.com

I've asked around my area (I live in the Philippines btw) and boardgamers didnt really say anything bad about it. But obviously there are some flaws like how to verify the scores for Online Battles, and would people really join these Challenges and Online battles.

Obviously, I need a person who's also passionate about boardgames, to bounce ideas around and make this idea better and make it come to life

If have any questions and would like to team up, reach out at [email protected]

I was thinking in something like that but I could not find a solution for this problem
"how to verify the scores for Online Battles"
Then I was thinking about if would be posible to create a template for boardgames, like a platform that let you create boardgames, like having a deck of cards and let the users create their games

HI thanks for your message. But I was thinking in the lines of playing real-life boardgames and how to verify that

Well, for me the only way to verify that would be an app that let you add your movements on the game, like a chess timer app, but with more features, i don't sure about if could work for other games...

Ah I see what you mean. But kinda same thing with virtual boardgames, there's alot of those now - boardgamearena, tabletopia. And I dont know if people would not mind recording their movements while playing. Also, we would have to think of specific games only, there are like thousands maybe millions of games out there.
Thanks for taking the time to reply though, I really appreciate :) keep them coming!

Yep, but considering this case "recording their movements while playing" the first reason for people doing that I think would be an instant gratification, or adding some extra functionality to the game,
Do you have a specific game-board in mind?

            1. 1

Only games I played, like Brass Lancashire, Raiders of Scythia, etc
The original plan was people will be able to host their own "online battle"

      Yup, I'm aware of that
