brodmin - Report your unpaid invoices - A late payment directory

Hey community!
I've just launched brodmin and I would love to get some web design feedback.
https://brodmin.com

What we do?
brodmin was developed to help freelancers, business owners, and entrepreneurs to find more financial stability and better protect their business when working with new on and offline clients.

As an independent directory focused on collecting reports on businesses who leave clients unpaid, we want to help you avoid potential financial hardships before they happen. By giving you the tools needed to understand whom to work with and whom to avoid we can help you grow your business with improved confidence.

Clients and businesses are rapidly growing in the ever-changing business marketplace, which makes it even more vital that you stay better protected when it comes to your financial future.

Be aware of businesses whose payment habits don't align with your efforts, so you can focus on what matters most—your own success.

Thanks in advance!

I really love the idea and the problem you are solving. When I initially opened the page, I thought that I could also check the site to see if I was doing business with a "risky" client. Sort of like an alternative to doing an expensive credit check - which is also what got me hooked (directory = I can look something up). After reading the page, I'm still not sure if that's possible?

I think i general, and that probably ties in with the comment above, there is just a ton of information, which feels a little overwhelming. I would try to cut down on the amount of content per page, so readers can get the point quickly! You can then add sub-pages to give them more info.

Hope that helps & good luck with everything! Looking forward to seeing more :)

The page feels long to read - there are lots of sections. Assuming you feel each one is vital, I would start with "the problem", "the challenge", "the solution" and then go on to talk about your site.

The language is sometimes quite negative, talking about "offenders" and how you "can't achieve our goal with your reports". This can be reframed as protecting yourself and others like you.

On the "How it works" page, you cite yourself as a source - this is never a good idea.

Is there a risk that you could be sued for holding libellous information about a company?

You have lots of statistics to back up your claims, which is great, but why would a company register to use the site? I can see it's free to use but other than that, what's the motivator for your customer here?

Why would a freelancer take your site's word for a client being a bad payer over a credit report?

I think the site has noble intentions, but I'm struggling to see how it becomes a commercial success (if indeed that's the intention).
