Building a business-themed card game

"In a parallel universe of silly-valley, a courageous few have stepped out to build the next big start-up but only one will succeed. Without any formal business education, you’ll learn everything about building and destroying businesses. You will have to raise funding, assemble the most kickass team ever, acquire customers and kick the competitors in the shin to become a fabled unicorn. Do you have what it takes to build a unicorn?"

That's the short intro of the first tabletop game I have created. I am not a game designer but picked this as a challenge last year to take my mind off the pandemic. After 1 year, 100s of designs, and 1000s of playtests, we have finally created the world of 'Silly Valley' which is playful, strategic, and super engaging. Will love to get your opinion on the theme of the game.

Will you be interested in playtesting our game?

Thumbs up for 100's of iterations and 1000's of playtests! I can't imagine a better way to make a winning game.

      Thanks @JHercules :)
In terms of iterations, I found the process to be pretty similar to developing software products. We started with pen and paper to test our MVP.

Really love the idea of this game. I’m excited to see where this goes with respect to its execution as the description sounds super interesting. Can’t wait to have the deck of cards in my hands.
    Best of luck guys!

Sounds great. Check on kickstart if there is no similar project, and my advice : printing is expensive (my experience), so you can use kickstarter to have the $ and orders to start printing. Kickstart is a great MVP because many gamers there,

Hi @Tim12, absolutely! We are printing a few decks for sharing, display & review and will do the printing in the bulk post the Kickstarter campaign. We did some research on Kickstarter/Indiegogo to see similar games but there is none with the same mechanics or theme as ours. BTW which games did you created (I suppose your printing experience is from another similar kickstart campaign)

It was games for kids. But finally, we gave up, offline business is not as simple that online business :)
I guess we used makeplayingcards.com at that time, but maybe there are new platform like this one (we planed to use alibaba quotes after the MVP and send the cards to amazon and focus all the sells on amazon)

      Thanks @harrisonjohnson!
You will be amongst the first few to get an update once we launch so you can playtest and give us some feedback. Also, will love to hear more about your idea as well!
