Tl;dr - for the past few months, we’ve been working on an open-source application that aims to simplify the process of getting help online. We launched last week and would love to hear your opinion and advice on how we can get more users.
Let me start by saying I’m excited to post this. I’ve been a fan for quite some time, but I’ve never had anything to share until now.
Back in August, I joined a non-profit organization called More Human Internet. We are a group of digital activists using web technologies to promote civility, transparency, and the greater good. Our first product is “Roar!”, a web extension that automatically captures a snapshot of any online issue and addresses a tweet to the site's maintainer.
We had a successful launch on Product Hunt (70 upvotes 🎉) and our main focus right now is growing our audience. We’re a fully bootstrapped small team of volunteers. How would you acquire new users?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
