"But if your price is so cheap, the product quality must be low and customer support non-existent.

Emails will go to spam because you don't have the funds to create and maintain high deliverability standards."

That's what folks who don't know how we operate say when they first discover BirdSend's affordable prices.

My response:

"Why don't you give us a fair, free try first? After that you can judge whether BirdSend sucks or not."

The reason why BirdSend is so affordable is because we don't do any kind of paid ads.

We pass the savings to our customers.

We primarily rely on word of mouth to drive new sign ups.

And allocate the majority of our funds on product development to make sure the product is good.

Otherwise no one would want to refer us to their network.

You CAN build a good quality product and provide good customer support while at the same time charging affordable prices.

It's not mutually exclusive. You can have both.

You're pricing isn't that cheap. If it was $3 that would be a different story. Plus your pricing scales.

Very different compared to other projects I have seen on IH.

If you go to appsumo you can get email marketing platforms for $49 for life time. That is cheap. (But the chance it will be around next few years is tiny).

When I say cheap/more affordable, I mean for ESP tools. I'm not comparing to other tools that are for different functions.

There are only 2 other ESP that is cheaper than us. 1 is on appsumo for lifetime, and the other is $38/m for unlimited subscribers. To hit $38/m with us, folks need to go for the 15k plan which costs $39. So if you. start smaller than that, it's cheaper to go with us. Even beyond 15k, I'd still consider our tool as affordable compared to other ESPs.
