How do we understand the value of our personal networks?

Over the past 4 weeks, have spoken to 35 early stage founders and Indie Hackers about how they use their existing networks to exchange value and ideas.

What problems they encounter and what tools they are using to help.

Unanimously, the two biggest challenges faced are:

  1. Who do I reach out to from within my network? 🤔
  2. What do I say when I reach out to them? 😥

Personal CRM's are great for compiling contacts and grouping them (some even allow you to set an outreach cadence), but what do you do with these reminders? There is still so much friction to be overcome.

Enabling human connection is a problem worth solving, so we started to build a simple product to help you understand who to engage with, and what to say to take the conversation further.

I am fearful of the use case descending into sales prospecting, but the early users haven't done so.
