Can you use Bensound for podcast music?

Hello all! I'm working on my first podcast and I'm looking for some music from my intro/outro and breaks. Most podcast blogs refer to bensound.com but their licensing tab says "You cannot use our music for Audio Podcasts or AudioBooks."

So... can I use it or not? if not, does anyone have other website recommendations? Thank you!!

Hey @deli, if they say you can't, there's probably a reason. Much of the internet sadly has no issue violating intellectual property, but aside from just being wrong, this can also seriously harm the integrity of your podcast.

One day I learned that NPR use https://freemusicarchive.org/ and I've used it ever since. It can take some time to find something that works for you, but it's free and the rights are clearly explained for each title. Hope that helps - T

Yeah they confirmed it's illegal to use them for podcasts. Thanks so much for the link, I'm on the hunt there right now! :) really appreciate it!

I'm glad it helped. Good luck with the treasure hunt :)
